Kirsten Anne Malone (Lady K) was an extremely energetic member of the arts and music communities in Boston. An innovative keyboardist, she was a member of Statue Factor and The Faux. With her photography, video, sculpture, and performance, Malone created artwork that boldly tackled social constructs affecting her life as a young woman in Boston. Employing her characteristic intelligence and sharp wit, she summoned her own personal histories for pertinent social critique of stereotypes, consumption, and technology.

Kirsten was struck by an automobile as she bicycled in Allston on June 12, 2004. The accident led to her premature and tragic death.

October 1, 2007 would have been her 33nd birthday.
