This is the personal site for Deb Nicholson. I’m motivated by the intersection of technology and social justice. Access to political information, unfettered freedom of speech and assembly, civil liberties in our increasingly digital world all rank high for me. I’m willing to learn new technologies, forge new connections, and boldly go where no woman has gone before.
In particular, I excel at building relationships with partners, donors and volunteers; speaking about free software and/or community organizing; negotiation and facilitation; participating in broadly based coalitions; staff and volunteer management; writing and copy editing; political organizing and campaign work; and event planning for non-profits and special projects.
